What to expect

The Heli-day starts with you meeting your instructor who will give you a ground briefing on the helicopter, the controls, how it flies and what to expect. Then you’ll accompany your instructor onto the flight line and assist in a helicopter pre-flight inspection.

The first flight lasts 1 hour. During the flight, your instructor will demonstrate each control and then let you fly the helicopter.

Upon returning to Son Bonet there is a time for a break and lunch, sandwiches & refreshments will be provided by us before the afternoon's 1 hour flying lesson where you can try the real art of helicopter flight – hovering!

Once safely back on the ground you will receive a Souvenir and Certificate to show that you have completed the Heli-Day Training Course. The Heli-day is part of the official training course towards your Private Pilots Licence!
