Career Program

Your Pilot's Licence

Do you want a career as a helicopter pilot?

Do you want to know that you will be offered paid flying work on completion of your flying training?

Then our Career Pilot Program will be of definite interest. At the end of your professional training you will be offered a mix of Commercial Charter, Photographic Flights, Pleasure Flying and Instructional work.

Designed specifically for those individuals wanting a career as a helicopter pilot, the training also involves a structured hour building package and offers a minimum of 80hrs paid flying work for those candidates enrolled onto the course and who complete the course to the satisfaction of the Chief Pilot.

How it works

In summary it works like this:

Stage 1 - EASA PPL (H)

You do your Private Pilot's Licence with us in Mallorca. You do your hour building, which includes specific destinations, routes and challenges.

Stage 2 - Hour Building

Hour building in Mallorca will focus on general handling and experience in flying by yourself, then there will be hour building focussing on navigation and radio procedures.

Stage 3 - EASA CPL Theory Examinations

During this hour building phase, don't forget, there are the CPL/ATPL ground exams to pass (we’ll help with some of the ground topics). Once you have reached 155 hours total time we can move onto the next module, the CPL.

Stage 4 - EASA CPL Flight Training

You then do the 35 hour CPL flight training course with us in Mallorca.

Stage 5 - Tour Flying

On successfully passing the CPL flight test you will then be what is called 'base and line checked'. These are additional in house company flight tests that allow you to take on flying work. Initially this will be on the R44, and you will be offered paid work as a commercial pilot doing introductory tours in Mallorca.

Stage 6 - EASA Flight Instructor Course

At the same time you continue building your hours to 220, and then do an FI course with us. On completion of the FI skills test, instructional work will be offered to you.
